Nathan D. Cronic
Nathan attended East Coweta High School, where he was an all-region and two-time all-state honorable mention quarterback. He graduated magna cum laude from Valdosta State, where he played football and was twice named the University’s Student-Athlete of the Year. He graduated with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2003 and was named to the prestigious Order of the Barristers for his success on the Moot Court team. Since joining Willis McKenzie in 2004, Nathan has successfully handled complex litigation in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia and the Superior and State Courts of Troup, Coweta, Carroll, Heard, Meriwether, Upson, Spalding, Fayette, Clayton, Henry, Bibb, Muskogee, Fulton and Dekalb counties.
Nathan is experienced in personal injury and wrongful death litigation involving motor vehicle, motorcycle, ATV, bicycle and trucking accidents, as well as products liability. In 2017, Nathan assisted partner Matt Alford in obtaining a $2 million jury verdict in the Superior Court of Troup County involving an automobile accident on Interstate I-85. This was the largest personal injury jury award in the history of Troup County Superior Court, and it was one of the largest personal injury awards in the history of Troup County. Nathan also practices in the areas of commercial litigation, divorce, family law and municipal law.
As an active member of the community, Nathan has served as a volunteer recreational youth coach in football, basketball and baseball for 15 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their three sons, as well as golfing and playing basketball.
